Ingredients

  • 1 boneless pork shoulder butt roast (3 to 4 pounds)
  • 1 can of Zevia Creamy Root Beer
  • 1 bottle of no-sugar added barbecue sauce
  • 12 hamburger buns

Directions

  1. Pour the can of Zevia Creamy Root Beer into the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Add the roast into the crockpot, cover, and set to high. Leave the meat for 6-7 hours or until your meat is tender.
  3. Turn off the crockpot and remove the roast. While the roast is resting, combine the bottle of barbecue sauce with the juices from the slow cooker.
  4. Return the pork to the cooker and shred using two large forks. Once shredded, mix the pork and sauce.
  5. Cook, covered until heated through, about 20 minutes.
  6. Serve on rolls with your favorite toppings.
  7. Enjoy!
